WHAT IS DISTRACTION?
Distractions take attention away from what an operator needs to do when performing a task. Distractions can be external (such as noise) or internal (such as fatigue, rumination, or stress). Distractions may be caused by a number of factors, including the loss of interest in the primary activity, inability to pay attention due to various reasons, or intensity of the distractor.
5 TIPS TO AVOID DISTRACTION.
Distraction hurts us too. So, we have to stay away from it or we will never be able to improve our life. We can’t fulfill our dreams. So, I shared 10 tips here. I hope we can overcome the distraction by following our own writings.
1) Turn Off The Background Noise :
When we study or do any other important work, a lot of sounds comes to our ears from the background. For example, a car horn, TV sound, etc. Then we feel mentally exhausted. And, our minds are not in that work then. So, we have to choose a place where there will be no distraction.
We must try to avoid these distractions. Those who are students or businessmen are most affected. What is happening outside has a lot of effect on our work. For that reason, many wise people talk about meditating in a quiet environment in the morning. We must try to do important things in a peaceful environment.
2) Switch Off The Cell Phone:
The most essential thing today is mobile. Everyone uses it more or less. However, it is most effective in children. Even for those who are students, the effect is not less. As soon as a message enters the phone, we immediately sit down with it.
Even if you wake up and don’t take it in hand once, the morning is not fun. We wake up and think, “Let’s see 5 minutes, see if anyone texted” … and we don’t notice how these 5 minutes turn into 5 hours. So, to improve your life, it is better to use fewer phones. It damages our brain, reduces our memory, and damages our eyes. We have to try to use the mobile according to the rules.
3) Resting The Brain:
We feel a little tired when we do 3 to 4 hours of continuous work. At that time we have to stop doing the work. Because, once we feel tired, we don’t feel like doing that anymore. Then, we start looking at our mobiles most of the time. Then, our minds become destructed. What we have done so far, how far the work has gone, everything is forgotten. Our brain then goes bad.
For this reason, the brain needs to be rested at the end of the work. For only 10 to 15 minutes. I have to think with one mind about what I have done for so long. By giving rest to the brain we can stay away from destruction.
4) Set Time and Set Place:
We’ve heard it a million times- when we study, set aside a specific time and place for our studies every day. This, coupled with having a weekly planning session will ease the stress of finding time to study. Make it known that when we’re in this place at this specific time, we’re studying and do not bother us during those hours.
This requires some discipline on our part to be consistent in our planning and the execution of those plans but something this simple is the best way to improve our study time. When we study or do other work for a certain period of time, we pay special attention to that work. Therefore, to avoid distraction, each time of the day needs to be tied to a specific rhythm.
5) Be Active:
Sitting at a desk all day long can be exhausting, despite involving no exercise whatsoever. That’s why it’s important to take a few small breaks away from your study space – do some exercise, get outside, play some sports, or do whatever it is you like to do to stay active.
It can take your mind off the stress of working, and besides, you need to have a bit of fun while as well. There will be no distraction if you do these. It is better to give rest to the brain. Otherwise, everything we do will go out of our heads, nothing will get into our heads.
Distraction is one thing that never lets us improve. It’s a kind of barrier. Which always tries to lead us astray. However, we must try to stay away from distractions. Currently, this distraction hides from harming us. We don’t even understand what is hurting us. However, we must always maintain a positive attitude and move forward.
