He was born on December 24, 1997, in Panipat, Haryana. He is a resident of Khandara village in Panipat. His father’s name is Satish Kumar, who is a farmer by profession.

Mother Saroj Devi, who is a housewife. He studied at DAV College, Chandigarh, and graduated from Kurukshetra University. Neeraj fell in the track and field category and finished fourth. He made his debut for India in 2011 in Haryana.
