1) Learn From The Mistake: 

The mistake is a very common thing. We all do many mistakes in our life. But sometimes this mistake motivates us to do something new and pushes us towards darkness for the rest of our lives. It will give us results in the way we make mistakes. We have to look at mistakes as learning opportunities .. then our goal will be fulfilled. Again, if we make a mistake but do not learn from it, we will never be able to improve. We have to learn from our mistakes. 

2) Don’t Worry About What Others Think: 

What other people think is completely subjective because it’s based on where they are in life. Some people will think about our performance is stellar and others won’t be impressed. We have to just focus on our goals and on our daily actions. What people think of us – we don’t have time to waste thinking about it. So, we have to do our own thing without paying attention to what others are saying while maintaining a positive attitude. 

3) Focus On The Practice, Not The Performance: 

Many of us just think about performance. Whether it is good or bad – this is what we think about. However, we do not focus on practice. We do not understand that our performance depends on our practice. The more we practice something, the better our performance will be. The more time we spend on something, the happier we will be. So, we have to look at practice, not performance.

4) Aim For Improvement, Not Perfection: 

Perfectionists seldom accomplish much because they wait for everything to be perfect before they even get started. The condition will never be perfect. We just have to start. There is no benefit in running after perfection. We have to just take a moment and make it perfect. Every day we have to try to improve little by little. So, we have to fix a goal and work for it. Goal fixing does not improve, we have to work for it. 

5) Believe We Can Get What We Want: 

We have to set goals that we believe we can achieve. The goals can be big or small, but it is important that we believe we can make them come true. If we have doubts or think they are too big or unrealistic, we will set obstacles on our way. The point is, we have to believe in ourselves that we can. Faith is very precious. Everything in the world will seem difficult for us if we cannot believe in ourselves. 

6) Make Sure The Goals Are Smart: 

If we’re not achieving goals we’ve set for yourself, it’s likely our goals are the problem. When a goal is too vague to visualize or too lofty to attain, we’re setting ourselves up for failure. How to achieve goals starts with setting the right type of goals. Our goals should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and we have to set in a Time Frame.

Setting SMART goals makes them much easier to achieve. By writing down exactly what we want, how to accomplish it, and benchmarks for measuring our progress, we set ourselves free from the fear of failure. We’re able to chart our own course toward the extraordinary life we deserve. 

7) Reward Our-self For Success: 

In order to stay motivated toward achieving our goals, we have to reward ourselves for successfully completing objectives or pursuing professional development. Achieving a particularly challenging portion of our goal deserves the same recognition we would give to friends who accomplished a difficult project. We can reward ourself by taking a celebratory lunch, upgrading our workspace, or simply sharing our accomplishment with others.
